Role Description:<br />
The Business Office Manager / Revenue Cycle Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Hallettsville, TX. This role oversees the daily operations of the hospital business office, including patient registration, billing, collections, and payment posting to ensure accurate and timely revenue capture. The individual will monitor and improve revenue cycle processes, review accounts receivable, resolve billing and claim issues, and coordinate with payers to optimize reimbursement. The role includes supervising and mentoring office staff, assigning workloads, and implementing policies and procedures that support compliance with regulatory and payer requirements. The manager will collaborate closely with clinical, financial, and administrative leaders to provide clear reporting, identify trends, and recommend process improvements that support the financial health of the organization.<br />

Qualifications<br />
*Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex billing and financial information clearly to patients, staff, and leadership.<br />
*Proficiency in office administration, including organizing workflows, maintaining records, and managing schedules and priorities.<br />
*Experience with office equipment and related systems used in a healthcare business office, such as printers, scanners, and multi-line phone systems. <br />
*Proficiency with hospital information systems, accounting systems, email, and Microsoft Word and Excel required.<br />
*Prefer previous experience with Oracle Cerner EMR.<br />
*Demonstrated customer service skills with a focus on empathy, professionalism, and effective problem resolution for patient and payer inquiries.<br />
*Knowledge of insurance verification, coding, claims processing, and collections, along with understanding of healthcare regulations and payer guidelines.<br />
*Minimum of 5 years&apos; experience in revenue cycle management, accounts receivable, accounts payable and business office operations in a healthcare or hospital setting.<br />
*Minimum of 7 years management experience with proven leadership abilities, including staff supervision, training, performance feedback, and team-building in a fast-paced environment.<br />
*Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in a health care related field, Business or Finance preferred<br />
*Comfort with financial reporting, key performance indicators (KPIs), and basic budgeting concepts relevant to revenue cycle performance.<br />
*Assists with the financial audit for annual financial and cost reports.<br />
